Step into a space made for wonder! The Enchanted Forest Bookshop, which first began in 2024 as a small online and pop-up bookstore, has now grown into a warm and whimsical permanent home in Snohomish. What started as a tiny curated collection for young readers has blossomed into a full children’s bookshop offering thoughtfully selected stories for ages 12 and under — plus puzzles, games, and delightful gift items that spark creativity.

The shop was created to be a book-centered community space where young readers feel excited to explore, discover, and learn. Walk in the door and you’re greeted by an inviting, campfire-themed storytime nook, cozy seating, and a gorgeous custom mural illustrated by local illustrator/author Katherine Castano.

Owner Erin Jergenson shared that having a permanent location has opened the door to even more opportunities for families. As a mom herself, she believes deeply in giving kids access to books that nurture curiosity and a love of reading. Her hope is for the shop to become a meaningful part of the community — a place where families, educators, and young readers feel supported, welcomed, and inspired.
