If your child loves mixing, fizzing, creating, and getting a little messy, we’ve got the perfect class for you!
Messy Science Fun is coming to the Rosehill Community Center in Mukilteo, and it’s designed for curious young minds who love to explore. This hands-on, interactive class is packed with fun, age-appropriate experiments that make learning science exciting, engaging, and unforgettable.
From homemade ice cream and slime to rainbow fizz and magic milk, every class brings a new adventure. Each experiment is carefully selected to spark creativity, fuel curiosity, and encourage kids to ask questions and think like young scientists. Plus, it's a safe, welcoming environment where kids can freely explore without worrying about making a mess—in fact, we encourage it!
Here’s what kids can expect:
- Make your own slime and explore the science behind its stretch and texture
- Shake up ice cream in a bag and learn how liquids turn into solids
- Create rainbow fizz reactions using simple kitchen ingredients
- Explore color mixing and surface tension with magic milk experiments
- Watch flowers change color and discover how plants absorb water
- Blow big bubbles while learning about air and surface tension
- Make static electricity butterflies that flutter with just a balloon!
This class is more than just fun—it’s a great way to boost confidence, encourage hands-on learning, and inspire a lifelong love of science.
